Teeth Whitening: The 60 Second Teeth Whitening Trick

January 3rd, 2010

Home teeth whitening products have picked speed ever since the need to maintain oral hygiene became a necessity of sorts. Home teeth whitening products started selling like wildfire ever since the need for clean and unstained teeth took the front seat in any formal as well as informal meeting. In an era wherein time is money, the need to whiten teeth in a matter of seconds, is often looked on as the most important aspect of our everyday personal care. Taking cue from the above statement, let us now discuss a few ways through which you can achieve your dream of whitening your teeth in 60 seconds flat.
Whiten Teeth Through A Suitable Product
One of the most important aspects of trying to save time while managing to take care of your personal hygiene is by choosing the right product. When you are trying to decide on the best whitening product, you need to try and choose only the very best. In simple words, you need to try and make sure that you avoid strips and gels at all costs. One of the main reasons why you need to do this is because gels and strips have the ability to not only irritate you to the very core but they also have an uncanny knack of taking all your precious time away. Hence, unless and until you aspire to waste most part of your life trying in vain to polish your stained tooth, you need to steer clear of strips and gels for good.
Whiten Teeth Through Cleansing Swabs
Whenever the discussion is revolving around polishing a stained tooth in a matter of seconds, you need to try and understand that this is only possible if you have access to a cleansing swab. In case you are not aware of a swab, allow me to explain. A swab is somewhat similar to a cleansing ear bud, at least as far as appearance is concerned. The only difference is that the swabs have a special cleaning liquid which works as a natural polishing wonder. It is blessed with special sensors which automatically allow it to absorb just the right amount of polishing powder from within a jar of whitener. This special whitener is made from a natural substance and is completely hygienic for your teeth.
Simply Choose A Time
After having chosen to whiten teeth through the means of a cleansing swab, you simply need to dip it inside a jar of whitener and rub the swab all across your stained tooth. After the application procedure, which lasts a few seconds, your stain would be removed and your tooth would begin to shine like new. Over here, you simple need to chalk a schedule. Once you have a schedule in place, you are simply required to adhere to it at all times. It is suggested that you whiten your teeth early in the morning. This can be done along with your brushing schedule. This way, you would also never forget to polish your teeth.
Follow The Instructions
It has often been noticed that people tend to ignore the instructions manual and begin the application on a personal note. Well, this needs to be avoided at all costs. If you aspire to whiten your teeth, you need to try and make sure that you follow the instructions with care. While it takes only a few seconds to understand, people often tent to ignore it. This needs to be avoided at all cost. As a matter of fact, you need to try and repeat the cleansing process as your teeth would get stained again owing to your hectic lifestyle.

Teeth whitening advice â?? the best there is for the best look of your teeth

January 2nd, 2010

Tartar amassing, tooth decay, teeth getting older as you get older, and fillings have a say in the process of discoloration. In addition, teeth contain nerves and blood vessels. Should it happen for such nerves and blood vessels to get broken, the tooth might grow to be stained or become a number of shades darker â?? most likely because cavities have developed into the tooth or there are chips or cracks in it.

In other cases, discoloration may occur after having followed a treatment for a condition not necessarily related to your teeth. Even diseases can contribute to the staining of your teeth. Fortunately, when you are looking for teeth whitening advice, you will notice that the ways to enhance the way your teeth look are more than just a few. However, in general, the most reasonable pieces of teeth whitening advice that you should stick to relate to the following aspects.

First, make sure you have paid a visit to your dentist. He or she will have your teeth leveled and cleaned, which essentially eliminates the layer(s) of tartar probably â??decoratingâ? your teeth. In addition, you should get plenty of advice on how to stay away from cavities and how to maintain as long as possible a brighter shade of your teeth. Second, do not ignore ordinary brushing â??sessions.â? No matter how short they are, they can be critical for the health of your teeth. You would be amazed at the degree of teeth whitening that a bit of toothpaste on a toothbrush can achieve for you, with the sole condition that you practice this regularly.

Moreover, if you have already adopted a teeth whitening treatment, you might also want to adopt the â??no smokingâ? attitude. It is a known fact: tobacco will contribute greatly to the staining and yellowing of teeth. By abandoning this habit, you are one step further to attaining the desired shade of white. On top of it, try to keep away from soft drinks or from junk food â?? they are also known as factors of teeth discoloration.

To what concerns teeth whitening toothpastes, as you might have already found out from your cosmetic dentistry specialist, they will mostly deal with surface discoloration. In other words, they will not modify considerably the shade of your teeth. One valuable piece of teeth whitening advice concerns this modification of the shade: using stronger teeth whitening treatments will regularly achieve it, which essentially refers to tooth whiteners that contain a greater amount of bleach (peroxide).

The great thing is that tooth whiteners are available both for in-office whitening treatments and for at-home treatments. You can opt for whichever you think more appropriate to your expectations and to your financial possibilities. However, teeth whitening advice coming from a cosmetic dentistry specialist will always be of great value for attaining the best of the results.

Some Teeth Whitening Systems Can Actually Damage Your Teeth

January 1st, 2010

I have always maintained an exceptional standard of dental hygiene. As I grew older, however, my teeth inevitably lost some of their shine. I never really liked teeth whitening toothpaste before. teeth whitening systems seemed pretty vain and pointless to me. I did not know what they used as bleaching agent in the teeth whitening system, and did not want to risk my health for whiter teeth. That was before I had any problems with white teeth. Nowadays, my teeth are yellower, and I am embarrassed about them. Teeth whitening systems seem more appealing than before now that I’m actually faced with the problems of ugly teeth!
The first teeth whitening system that I ever tried was a simple toothpaste. It promised to give me whiter teeth in five days, but could not deliver on its promise. I suppose that my teeth might have been a shade or two whiter, but the difference was hardly noticeable. I tried several other teeth whitening system brands, but none of them helped.
I tried tooth whitening gum, but I had no results either. I went in for a professional tooth cleaning, and that seemed to help a little bit, but within a week or two my teeth were the same old color again. I knew that I needed to find a better teeth whitening system, or I would die of embarrassment.
I gradually got into more elaborate methods of tooth whitening. There is actually a way of using hydrogen peroxide whitening to make your teeth whiter. Unfortunately, this is not a get method. You see, hydrogen peroxide is very harsh. I even heard rumors that it could make your gums bleed! Nonetheless, I tried this teeth whitening system out, and I had some good results with it. It was not enough, but it was a start.
In the end, I went in for a laser teeth whitening treatment. In some ways, it was the very simplest teeth whitening system. All I had to do was go in for a few laser treatments, and it was all done. The teeth whitening treatment would eventually fade, but I can always get it done again.
This teeth whitening system is extremely expensive, but it was worth it. My teeth have looked much better since then, and three years have already passed. Although it was a little bit less convenient than an at home whitening teeth system, it was a whole lot more effective.

Finding A Teeth Whitening Solution That Works

January 1st, 2010

As we age, the paint on our automobiles gets dull and if you take a look, you will find the finish on your teeth also has taken a beating. It’s natural for your teeth to wear down the enamel and become dull, discolored and stained.
The great news is that with the advent of the Web, it’s possible to review all the different types of whitening solutions on the market without leaving the comfort of your home.
Let’s take a quick look at some of the ways you can quickly get whiter and brighter teeth.
1. Mouthwashes and solutions. These products have been around for quite awhile and are considered more of a maintenance product than an actual teeth whitening solution. While they may be fine for keeping your teeth looking great, these quick mouthwash products don’t stay on your teeth long enough to be truly effective.
2. Over the counter products. These are the paint on products found at your local drugstore. Another popular product are white strips that are placed on the front teeth. While you may have 25 or more teeth, these products only whiten the front 12 or so teeth structures. While convenient, you cannot expect too much whitening on seriously stained tooth enamel
3. Home do-it-yourself kits. These products, although more expensive than local drugstore offerings, do a much better job of whitening and brightening your teeth. Available on the Internet from a variety of sources, these carbamide peroxide-based products offer a quick, low cost way to a brighter smile. Care should be taken to get a product with no more than 22% carbamide peroxide. Anything stronger, and you run the risk of damaging teeth and gums
4. Professional teeth whitening. Professional teeth whitening is now done at many of your local dentist offices and also at specialty teeth whitening salons. Products such as zoom teeth whitening offered by your dental professional can remove many of the most stubborn stains and discolorations. While much more expensive than any of the other solutions, professional teeth whitening does have the benefit of more effectively whitening and brightening tooth enamel than anything else available.
The great majority of tooth whitening products will fall into one of these four categories. While some dentists may offer home teeth whitening kits, these are usually no better than product you can get over the Web. Ordering your supplies directly from your dentist however, offers the benefit of not only a local source, but also someone who has a vested interest in your satisfaction.
In the end, the trade-off is quite simple to understand. If you want the best teeth whitening experience available in the shortest amount of time, go with the professional teeth whitening even though it’s much more expensive.
If your interest is only in keeping your teeth brightness from becoming worse, many of the over-the-counter and even mouthwash products would suit your needs.

Laser Teeth Whitening: Get A Smile To Smile About

December 31st, 2009

No sector of life in the 21st century life has gone untouched by the advance of technology. And those advances have brought with them both positive and negative effects on the individual lives which have come to depend on them.
One of the most significant breakthroughs has been in the field of laser technology, and new laser applications have been found for industrial businesses, as well as optical and cosmetic surgeries
One area of cosmetic surgery which is benefiting from the advances in laser technology is dentistry. Laser technology has proven highly effective as a treatment for the tooth discoloration which affects people of all ages. Most people are highly self-conscious about their smiles, and can be uncomfortable in social situations when they have discolored teeth. For these who do, laser teeth whitening can be the answer to a prayer.
Laser teeth whitening can treat tooth discoloration both quickly and without discomfort, and, depending on the tooth sensitivity of the patient involved, can be completed in no more than a few sessions with the dentist. It often requires only a single visit. For more info see http://www.maketeethwhiter.com/Home_Teeth_Whitening/ on Home Teeth Whitening.
Laser teeth whitening, however, is more expensive than traditional tooth whiteners, some of which can be applied at home. But for someone who wants whiter teeth as quickly as possible, the extra expense of laser teeth whitening may not matter. If cost is a consideration, other tooth whiteners have been proven to work, although they will take quite a bit longer to do what laser teeth whitening can accomplish immediately.
How Laser Teeth Whitening Works
Laser teeth whitening is similar to other tooth whitening techniques in that it uses a tooth bleaching or whitening gel. The dentist will apply the gel to the surface of the teeth and, by aiming the pulse of laser light directly at it, activate its whitening ingredients.
The result is that the patient will experience immediately whiter teeth, but the whiter teeth may be accompanied by side effects. Laser teeth whitening treatments can irritate both the teeth and the gums of individuals who are sensitive, but the irritation is a result of the whitening and should stop when the treatments are over and the teeth and gums have time to heal.
For those who have neither sensitive teeth nor gums which will react negatively to the ingredients in the tooth whitening gel or the laser pulses, and are willing to take on the cost, laser teeth whitening will provide an instantly transformed smile!

Dentist Teeth Whitening is the Right Choice

December 31st, 2009

If you are considering a teeth whitening system to give you cleaner teeth and a brighter smile, look no further than your dentist’s office. While there are many products on the market today that offer choices in home whitening systems, your dentist’s teeth whitening systems will offer the best and longest lasting results. There are a couple of options in teeth whitening through your dentist’s office. One is a treatment that takes place entirely in the office under the watchful eye of your dentist. This process usually takes about an hour to complete and may require anywhere from one to a dozen sessions.

Another option is to have your dentist craft a mouth guard that is customized to fit your teeth, and use that at home with a whitening gel that your dentist provides. Whichever process you and your dentist choose, you will be on your way to whiter teeth with little time and effort. Cost is another issue, however. Depending on where you live, a teeth whitening with your dentist can cost anywhere from $300 to $500 or more. Most people that have had teeth whitening done at a dentist’s office would agree that the aesthetic value of the procedure is worth every penny.

The Procedure for Teeth Whitening with your Dentist

Before beginning the teeth whitening process, your dentist will make sure that your teeth are clean and polished. He will also make note of your pre-whitening shade of teeth, so that you can see the results after the process is completed. He will protect your gums by covering them with some sort of protective dental dam so that they will not come in contact with any of the irritating chemicals used in the whitening process. He will also probably use a device like a lip retractor to give him plenty of room to work in your mouth. Once the preliminary steps are completed, your dentist will begin painting the whitening gel on your teeth. This gel will need to set on your teeth for a number of minutes. Some dentists will use a curing light or laser to help the process along.

Once the teeth whitening has been completed in the dentist’s office, you may have the option of continuing treatments at home with a mouth guard and whitening gel. The guard will be customized to your mouth by your dentist, and he will provide you with the whitening gel to apply into the guard before putting it over your teeth. You may be advised to wear this guard for a short period of time each day or overnight depending on the gel used and the amount of whitening that is required. Once you go home with your guard and gel, your time at the dentist for teeth whitening is basically complete.

Teeth whitening at your dentist’s office is a great way to a brighter smile and cleaner teeth. If you are considering a teeth whitening treatment, talk to your dentist about the best course of whitening treatment for you.

Achieve the Perfect Smile With Teeth Whitening

December 30th, 2009

Whoever said that the first impression is the strongest one was right. Apart from a nice suit, a great haircut and a confident character, a beautiful white smile is a must-have. One could think of whitening toothpaste, but it only works on surface stains because the concentration of bleaching agent is very low. This is why cosmetic dentistry is needed.

It is a discipline within dentistry that focuses in the modification of appearance of a patient’s oral cavity, thus it is altered to match the patient’s subjective concept of what is pleasing. Teeth whitening appeals to everyone who desires a fresh and young look and because the process is pretty simple and fairly affordable, it has become popular all around the world.

Cosmetic dentistry can be a very simple procedure like reshaping a front tooth or it can be more complex involving all teeth. The most common procedure is teeth whitening. It represents a procedure that lightens teeth and helps remove stains and discoloration.

A popular choice is the in-office bleaching. This type of dentistry is performed in the dentist office and requires several visits. A bleaching agent is applied on the teeth, and a special light is used to enhance the action of the agent. Laser bleaching is a similar whitening procedure, but, instead of light, the dentist uses a laser. This method is mainly used for removing stains from aging, tobacco and coffee, but it is also possible that the tooth may be stained on the inside, because of certain substances in the human body. Teeth whitening, the most popular procedure, improves the appearance of teeth at a lower cost than other techniques. The only disadvantage is that it must be repeated from time to time to help maintain a bright color.

Another procedure in this ever expanding field of cosmetic dentistry is the use of tooth veneers. They represent a good alternative because they require little or no anesthesia. The dentist simply glues a specially-shaped porcelain or plastic over the front of your teeth, but unlike the bleaching technique they are not as natural-like.

Cosmetic dentistry does so much more than just making your teeth look whiter. Especially teeth whitening doesn’t sacrifice the quality of teeth like a bridge does, because neighboring teeth are not altered to support an implant or other elements, so you could say it’s a tooth-saving technique. Most of all you will gain confidence. This, in turn, will allow you to speak, smile and eat with comfort and a lot more confidence. A carefully chosen dentist office will make you say goodbye to worries about misplaced dentures or pastes and glues.

A major problem involving teeth whitening is that bleaching may not improve your smile if you have had bonding or tooth-colored fillings placed in your front teeth. The whitener will not affect the color of these materials causing them to stand out in your whitened smile. If this is the case, in the field of cosmetic dentistry there are other options like porcelain veneers or dental bonding.

Mainly used by movie or rock stars, cosmetic procedures are now universally affordable because of the new tooth whitening kits. This means that you can perform almost the same procedures that the dentist does. Home done teeth whitening may be faster and cheaper, but it is not recommended if you have oral problems. It is better to have the opinion of a specialist than suffer from irritations or minor sensitivity. However, the choice belongs to you and with the help of cosmetic dentistry you can have the smile of a superstar.

Considering all of this, cosmetic dentistry is becoming more and more popular. As a plus, the spread of American culture worldwide, where a beautiful smile equals a “Hollywood smile”, is quite motivating. Either for closing a major contract with the smile of a winner on your face or to bring an extra spark on your teeth for your loved one, teeth whitening is the solution and it seems its here to stay.

Choosing A Teeth Whitening Treatment That Is Right For You

December 29th, 2009

Although teeth whitening treatment is a cosmetic procedure, it can be seen as a necessary one as it can affect your personal life and even career. This is especially so if your profession is in the service sector where personal appearance is important to create a good impression.
Laser teeth whitening is costly but many feel it is worth it since it produces almost immediate results in a short time with little discomfort. Others on a budget may try over the counter home DIY teeth whitening systems. These can work but the process is much more tedious as it usually involves several days of applying whitening gel, sometimes overnight for the whitening process to work.
For light stains and discoloration, home DIY kits offer a viable solution that can be effective and less costly in the long run. Various tooth whitening gel products are available in the form of dental trays or strips. There are also very handy pens that allow for no-mess application of whitening gel on the go.
More intensive teeth whitening home treatments that are commercially available is the Opalescence tooth whitening system. This hydrogen peroxide based bleaching agent is pre-packed as two individual components that are mixed at the time of use and is left overnight for the whitening process to work.
For teeth with deeper discoloration however, end results of home DIY kits may not be able to match up to the shade of white achieved by professional treatment at a dental clinic.
In such cases, laser teeth whitening may be the only solution. In laser teeth whitening, it involves activating the bleaching agent with light to penetrate teeth to stimulate color change and remove discoloration. Several sessions may be required to achieve the desired end result.
After undergoing laser teeth whitening, use a toothpaste with a bleaching agent to maintain teeth whiteness. Over time however, stains are inevitable as various food and drink will leave stains eventually. Some types of drinks such as coffee and tea have a much stronger staining effect. Smoking too, stains teeth easily. Moderating intake of such food and drink helps reduce and delay teeth discoloration.
The most aesthetically pleasing teeth whitening treatment is the use of teeth veneers. This is a very costly procedure that involves bonding very thin porcelain veneers onto the front of teeth and is usually carried out for chipped or misalign teeth. It is also used for teeth that have stains that cannot be removed.
Veneers have a few disadvantages. Once it breaks, there is no way to repair it. Also, having veneers bonded onto teeth requires that a minimal but noticeable amount of teeth enamel to be trimmed to fit the veneer. Teeth that have had veneers fitted must always have a veneer on in order to have a natural shape. Therefore, the cost could be very high in the long run.
Given all the pros and cons of each procedure, it is best to be fully informed as to what each entails so that you know what to expect during and after each teeth whitening treatment.

Teeth Whitening a Real Alternative

December 29th, 2009

Interestingly as the credit crunch hits the UK consumers are also thinking about teeth whitening as a real alternative to buying items like ipods, designer clothes or even other beauty treatments as they want the glowing white smile but do not necessarily have enough money to spread for other purchases.

Teeth whitening has become extremely popular in 2008 as TV makeover programs and famous stars are having the treatment and making it more mainstream and acceptable.

Along with many other forms of beauty treatments and ways to improve your wellbeing and generally make yourself feel better laser teeth treatment is now a popular treatment for many who strive for personal improvement and a whiter smile.

Laser teeth whitening is performed in many salons by trained professionals who apply a chemical normally chlorine dioxide on the teeth and then the laser oxidises the chemical which speed sup the process and the whole treatment is then undertaken in an hour resulting in the staining being removed.

There are two ways to have your teeth whitened – ( one is done by a dentist or teeth whitening professional and it is called professional tooth whitening system; and the other is done at home through various do-it-yourself kits

Managing the customers expectations is probably the biggest area that needs to happen as some customers will expect to have white teeth like Britney Spears or Simon Cowell but this simply is unlikely to happen and most people’s teeth will get whiter but only as far as their natural colour will allow. To get white bright teeth like the stars the only way is to have veneers by the dentist and these can cost a fortune and this is why laser teeth whitening is now considered a real alternative when considering teeth whitening.

Yellow or stained teeth can make the people look inferior. It also results in causing social insecurity. But now there is no need to look inferior as perfect teeth whitening is there to rescue. So, one can go for teeth whitening with ease.

Everyday staining of teeth is caused by the likes of smoking, red wine, coffee and sauces and eventually the enamel on the teeth gets impregnated and stains the teeth. The laser teeth whitening treatment gets deep in to the enamel removing the stains and brightening the teeth.

When you think teeth whitening you might think this is something that is going to appeal to mainly women but more and more men are taking are turning to teeth whitening as a way of improving their wellbeing and beauty.

Having a bright white smile is something that people are striving to desire and with Hollywood superstars all having glowing white teeth this has helped the teeth whitening industry grow over the last five years. With so many teeth whitening options available today ranging from diy kits to dentist trays sometimes the consumer is over whelmed with the options but Zoom teeth whitening is one solution that will not give you a headache in the process as the treatment is safe and very effective.
